To calculate the fuel consumption of a Diesel Generator, follow these steps:
1. Determine the fuel tank capacity of the generator in liters or gallons.
2. Record the number of hours the generator has been running.
3. Record the amount of fuel used during that time period in liters or gallons.
4. Divide the amount of fuel used by the number of hours the generator has been running to get the fuel consumption rate per hour.
5. Multiply the fuel consumption rate per hour by the number of hours you expect the generator to run to estimate the total fuel consumption.
For example, if a diesel generator has a fuel tank capacity of 100 liters and has been running for 10 hours, and you have used 50 liters of fuel during that time period, the fuel consumption rate per hour would be 5 liters (50 liters ÷ 10 hours). If you expect the generator to run for another 20 hours, the estimated total fuel consumption would be 100 liters (5 liters per hour x 20 hours).
